Back from outta space!
So it's what,June 23rd 2020, weird time, weird world .in almost exactly one year's time I'll be running my 3rd Marathon, Edinburgh 2021, for Macmillan cancer support, it's a great cause and I'm hoping to raise oodles of moolah for them through my very own leg pain, I literally haven't even run for a bus since the last marathon I ran seven years ago in 2013 so this is gonna be punishing to say the least!

Cardiff was a touch of fantastic, the Kala boys gifted me this glorious resonator, I love it!
Southend was also great, it's great to see these sold out shows for Imelda and her brave change in music, although, it is a departure the onstage vibe is electric and for me it's great to have the freedom to bring what I can to it without trying to replicate the album too much.
Guilford, I received this incredible gift from Orange amps OB1 500, it's my weapon of choice from now on, it has subtleties but it can sound like a mean little bastard too, the overdrive fuzz and mixer are genius and perfect for things like 'leave me lonely' very happy with this!

So,here we are,
Friday 24th July 2015, tonight is the first episode of the second series of The Imelda May Show, shown on RTE 1! A very exciting series it is too featuring an eclectic mix of music from Hothouse Flowers to the Boomtown Rats and from the lost brothers to the bionic rats, its going to be quite refreshing hearing Imeldas name linked once again to music which occasionally the red top press and some of the holier than thou folk seem to forget , a private life is exactly that, it shouldn't have anything to do with their job, its pretty savage & heartless to print provocative gossip articles about absolute bollocks they know nothing about, and no that isn't the price of fame.
Its been a crazy old year, births, deaths, marriages & breakups, have toured all over the blummin place, chasing the sun around the globe & through the middle, Oliver Darling has taken over Guitar duties, a new Album is in the pipeline for early next year with obviously more touring, i shall also add a link here of Darrel Highams new Album which comes out soon with some pretty exciting guests appearing on it. I hope you enjoy the show tonight, there was a lot of hard work involved and a ton of fun had ! I shall also add pictures as soon as I learn how to upload them onto this ere contraption,
mucho love

I know I've missed a load of dates out, but without my little book in front of me I have no idea where we've just been, I DO know that we have just had a very silly day leaving Edmonton at 7am to fly to Burnaby to play at 3.30 then back to the airport to fly to San Fransisco arriving at our beds at 1am.

Another one of my/our favourite places next, BOSTON! The people here did us proud and I think they may have even been a little nuttier than New York! I didn't get any snaps of the gig as like the nob-end that I am I left my camera on the Bus.
I did however spend a lovely day with groovy people (The Highams) visiting The New England Aquarium which was amazeballs, I ate a small houseworth of Mussels, a boatsworth of Lobster, and a winnybagosworth of Buffalo wings with around four pints of Blue chees dip.
More band/Imelda pics to come.
